Coffee and Chat
We welcome everyone for morning coffee, conversation, and activities. We meet on the first and third Thursday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the Perrier Room?
New Treadmill
We have a new treadmill in the gym. It replaces the one that had broken down.

Proposed new by-law
The proposed bylaw was on the agenda of the April 17 owners meeting. Shortly after the meeting began, a motion passed to table further discussion to the June 20, 2012 AGM to give a committee of owners and representatives of the Board an opportunity to meet to further refine the bylaw. There were not enough owners at the AGM to approve the bylaw.
August-September, 2012: The Governance Committee is currently refining the bylaw and the Board will arrange an owner’s meeting this fall.

Windows and balcony doors
Featured
At the April 17 meeting owners raised a number of questions about the windows project. Representatives from the Board, engineering consultants and the installer provided responses.
- How will problems with sliders be corrected? New sliders will be manufactured and defective ones will be replaced.
- How can we be confident new windows will meet our expectations? The Board has hired an independent engineering firm to do extensive laboratory and on-site testing on new windows before they are installed.
- The “final inspection” scheduled for April 17 was not completed. When will it resume? It was an error to identify this inspection as “final”. Representatives of the Board and the installing contractor completed inspection of installed windows and balcony doors on April 24.
